Dr. Homer Hayes has been named the interim provost for Tyler Junior College, President Mike Metke announced Thursday. Hayes will begin his new role on Oct. 15. Outgoing provost Dr. Mark Escamilla was named president for Del Mar College in Corpus Christi.
