Ronda Shirley says goodbye to TJC, but not to Tyler

TJC volleyball Head Coach Ronda Shirley is leaving TJC for the head coaching position at Robert E. Lee high school.
“I am very excited to kind of move down the street and coach some fine young ladies,” Shirley said in an interview with ETFinalScore.com,“I know it’s going to be a new adventure for me and I believe great things come from new adventures.”
According to ETFinalScore.com while at TJC she took the program that had gone 34-31 in the previous two years and piloted them to three straight 30-win seasons (2012-14), three consecutive undefeated conference championships, two NJCAA Tournament appearances (2013, 2014) and the program’s first-ever appearance in the NJCAA Championship (2013).
