CESSE will be hosting its first ever laser show featuring “exceedingly loud
hippie music” by the Beatles, U2, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd on Friday and
Saturday from 7-10 pm. Each show is separated by band and is set to start an hour
apart in the order listed.
Tickets are $5 per show, but Saturday the 27th
faculty, or immediate family member of someone who is, with a valid id. The free
day on Saturday also includes all normal shows and exhibits during the day such as
the Cosmic Journey, Earthquake and Black Holes. These shows can be viewed
throughout the day from 11 am to 4 pm, but the doors will close after the 4 pm
showing and will not be reopened till 6:30 pm. CESSE will also have the newest
exhibit “When the Earth Shakes” open for a special viewing.
Tickets will be required and handed out on first-come first severed-basis
during regular hours of operation on Saturday.

  1. I was unable to go to the laser shows but I really wanted to. I was recently in the planetarium for a science course and it was amazing. We were able to see the earthquake movie and saw trailers for various others. I definitely recommend that you go see something if you have the time.
