Chi Tau Epsilon: Chi Tau Epsilon is a student organization dedicated to dance. Chi Tau Epsilon is open to all TJC students who are passionate about dance. Meetings are at 10 a.m. Friday in the Ornelas Center for Band, Belles, and Dance.
Apache Chiefs: The Apache Chiefs are for students looking for the opportunity to expand their leadership skills. To apply, go to tjc.edu/chiefs. The deadline for Apache Chief applications is in October 2024. You can earn scholarship money, free TJC gear, and make lifelong friendships and memories.
Black Student Association: BSA aims to attract students of diverse backgrounds and give them a historic and cultural view of the African American race. Meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. every Tuesday in the Apache Room in RSC.
Apache Aeros: The Apache Aeros Club inspires and equips students who have a passion for (or interest in) aviation, aerospace, or other disciplines within the aeronautics field. Meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month during the Fall and Spring semesters in the Quest Classroom.
Las Mascaras: Las Mas is a social organization focused on supporting the well-being of students involved in the speech and theatre arts. Meetings are at 5:30 p.m. every third Wednesday of each month in Jean Browne Theatre.
The Baptist Student Ministry: BSM is a diverse gathering of college students pursuing God, the campus, and the nations, according to OrgSync. Meetings are held on Wednesday’s at lunch from noon to 1 p.m. at the BSM. The MVMNT is Thursday Nights at 8 p.m. at BSM. To view other events and times, visit TJC Orgsync.
Baha’i Club: The Baha’i Club is based on the teachings of the Baha’i Faith. All religions and beliefs are welcome. Baha’i Club promotes the unity of humankind and seeks to foster understanding, love, and fellowship on campus.
Hispanic Student Organization: The purpose of HSO is to expand the education and awareness of the Hispanic culture and its community through cultural and intellectual discussions and events. Meetings are held biweekly at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays in RSC, Apache Room 4, or Spirit Room (First Floor).
PHI THETA KAPPA: PTK has been nationally recognized for their provisional member program, which includes students working to improve their GPA in service and conference activities, giving them a “reason” to strive for excellence. They welcome all students interested in improving their GPA, leadership skills and community service. Meetings are held at 5:10 p.m. on Mondays usually in Rogers Student Center Apache 4, sometimes RNHS 2nd Floor student lounge.
Student Senate: The Student Senate serves as the voice of the student body and can be a change agent on campus. Meetings are held on at 4 p.m. Tuesdays in Jenkins Hall, Room 1109, according to orgsync.
Fitness and Friends: Fitness and Friends strives to empower individuals on their journey to wellbeing and embrace the beauty of strength. Meetings are held from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursdays at The Apache Rec Center.
TRiO: TRiO programs are designed to identify promising students and help them gain access and be successful in post-secondary education, including college. Visit them at the TRiO Suite in the Rogers Student Center, third floor.
Turning Point USA: Turning Point USA exists to educate students about the importance of freedom, free markets, limited government, and limited taxation. 1st and 3rd Mondays at 3:45 p.m.
STEM Club: The STEM Club allows students to participate in community service but also gets dirty with science. Meetings are held at Genecov 102 on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m.
Reproductive Rights: Coalition of TJC students looking to provide equity, resources, and education on reproductive rights and voter registration. Meetings are held at Big Shot Coffee House every two weeks on Friday.
