
Anna and Dr. Kaden Larson perform as a violin and piano duo for TJC’s masterclass and recital at the Rogers Palmers Performing Arts Center on Feb. 20. The Larsons both have musical backgrounds in their respective fields of music and continue to teach as well as perform recitals.
“Escape Ten,” a percussion duo and TJC’s percussion band perform in the Rogers Palmer Performing Arts Center Feb. 24. “Escape Ten” consists of the percussion duo Dr. Annie Stevens and Dr. Andrea Venet.
Dr. Annie Stevens and Dr. Andrea Venet of “Escape Ten” are assistant professors of percussion. Stevens teaches at Virginia Tech and Venet teaches at the University of North Florida.

Marlondos Fields showcases his wood art and collection at the Black Student Association Banquet, which was held in the TJC Apache Rooms on Feb. 22. Fields is a retired Navy Veteran, founder of two non-profit organizations, and continues to create and collect art today.

Chauncy B. Williams is another artist featured at the BSA Banquet. With a bachelor’s in fine arts and creating art since childhood, Williams creates as well as teaches art. His art style is sketch art with realism and color.
