Tyler Junior College’s Art Department offers an Art Club where all students are welcome regardless of their major.
The Art Club also hosts Art Attacks.
“We like to sneak in and put art in a building that may not necessarily have it just to liven things up,” said Derrick White, Art Department chair and professor. “An Art Attack is a fun way to invite other people from across campus to join Art Club or come visit Art Club.”
Art Club meets at noon every Wednesday in the Jenkins Hall Art Department lobby. There are no dues or requirements for this club.
The club offers a lot of different events like pizza parties, field trips and exhibition opportunities.
