Rohn Boone has won the runoff election for the Place 9 seat on the Tyler Junior College Board of Trustees.
A total of 1,390 people cast their vote in the runoff election. 430 of those votes were cast by early voters.
In May, only about eighty votes separated the two candidates.
The voting for Tyler Junior College board seats are done within the tax district which covers portions of Smith and Van Zandt Counties.
