While on patrol Campus Safety observed a broken light fixture in Ornelas A first floor lobby. Maintenance was notified.

A TJC employee reported a suspicious person in the stairwell of Pirtle Tech. Campus Safety responded and checked the area and found no one there.
OCT 31, 2008 1:30PM SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE
Campus Safety responded to a report of a burning odor in Genecov room 100. Maintenance was notified.
OCT 31, 2008 2:20PM MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A student became ill while in class in Pirtle room 208. She was transported to ETMC via EMS ambulance.
OCT 31, 2008 3:00PM HIT AND RUN
A student reported his vehicle was damaged while parked in the parking lot at 1417 Devine St. Campus Safety documented the damage.
OCT 31, 2008 6:20PM UNSAFE ACTIVITY
A student was observed riding on the back of a car exiting the parking lot at 1414 Magnolia St. When Campus Safety arrived she got off and the car drove away.
OCT 312, 2008 6:45PM SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
Campus Safety responded to a call that several male students were acting suspiciously on the corner of Devine and Bama St. Campus Safety checked the area and found no one there.
OCT 31, 2008 8:20PM FIRE ALARM
The fire alarm was activated in Bateman Hall. Campus Safety checked the area and reset the alarm.
OCT 31, 2008 10:00PM PUBLIC SERVICE
Someone from Resident Life called and requested Campus Safety check their office to be sure the coffee pot was turned off. Campus Safety checked and it was off.
OCT 31, 2008 11:22PM SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
While on patrol Campus safety observed a Honda Civic driving around in the parking lot at 1010 S Palmer. A non-student stated he was looking for a student. Campus Safety was unable to assist the person and he left the area.
NOV 1, 2008 3:44AM DISTURBANCE
Four students were observed in the parking lot at 1414 Magnolia playing loud music. All left the area. The incident will be referred to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
NOV 1, 2008 4:12AM ASSAULT
A student reported he had been assaulted by two males in the parking lot at 1200 S Palmer St. He was seen by EMS but refused to go to the hospital. Campus Safety continues to investigate. The incident will be referred to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
NOV 2, 2008 12:14AM LITTERING
Campus safety observed a student throw trash on the ground while exiting his car in the parking lot at 1200 Palmer. He disposed the item properly.
Nov 2, 2008 12:41AM CRIMINAL TRESPASS WARNING
Two non-students were observed in the parking lot at 1395 E. Devine. They were issued Criminal Trespass Warnings.
NOV 2, 2008 12:55AM UNSAFE ACTIVITY
Campus Safety observed a student riding on the hood of a car driven by another student. Campus Safety stopped the unsafe activity.
NOV 2, 2008 2:45AM SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
Campus Safety observed two cars circling around in the parking lot at 1200 Palmer. Four students were in the cars. The incident will be referred to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
NOV 2, 2008 11:00PM VIOLATION OF STUDENT CODE
The RA of Holley Hall reported a student had a female in room 213. Campus Safety responded but she was not in the dorm. The student was issued a Dorm Violation. The incident will be referred to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
NOV 2, 2008 11:20PM THEFT
Three students in Holley Hall reported items missing from their dorm rooms. They all suspect another student of taking the items. Campus Safety continues to investigate. The incident will be referred to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
NOV 3, 2008 12:46AM SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
While on patrol Campus Safety observed four males walking in the parking lot at 1200 S Palmer using profane language. When asked for ID, three students complied and the fourth person refused. All left the area.
NOV 3, 2008 1:25AM SUSPICIOUS PERSON
While on patrol Campus safety observed a male at the back door of Bateman Hall. When Campus Safety approached the male ran and could not be found.
