This week, the spring show by the Apache Belles, ‘Firsts and Lasts,’ will be featured at Wise Auditorium.
The show will be highlighting the emotional impacts of serving as an Apache Belle.
“This theme came about because of the very nature of the Apache Belle experience. It’s a two-year program, so their freshman year is full of many firsts: first practice, first football experience, first spring show,” said Jasilyn Schaefer, director of the Apache Belles. “Their sophomore year is full of many lasts, the most emotional of which is our traditional ‘Last Dance,’ which is their final performance as an Apache Belle.”
One highlight of the show is the head dance captain, Libby Lowry, who is a third-generation Belle.
Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. March 31-April 2, and there will be a matinee showing at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 2.
