A manhunt by the city marshal, with the assistance of Tyler P.D. and campus security concluded Tuesday morning around 9 a.m. with the arrest of a suspect.
The suspect was pursued and apprehended after fleeing from a traffic stop at the intersection of Bama Lane and E. Devine Street on the northernmost edge of the campus. He has been admitted to the Smith County Jail.
