The annual Thanksgiving food drive for PATH (People attempting to help) has wrapped up. The Drive was a resounding success.
Criminal Justice and Public Administration Professor Jason Waller has released the following statement:
“On behalf of the Faculty Senate Cabinet, Senators and especially the folks at PATH (People Attempting To Help) I want to thank all of the faculty, staff & students who helped donate canned (and other) food items these past few weeks.
We just made the last delivery to them this afternoon and I am happy to announce that Tyler Junior College donated just under 1,400 pounds of food to the people at PATH, that will in turn, go to help some very needy people of our community during this Thanksgiving season”
Stay tuned to MyTJCnews for more ways to help on campus and in the greater Tyler area as we round up all the upcoming events for students to participate in.
