Thh Lady Apaches soccer team defeated Butler Community College with two goals by Sophomore Alice Coyne. The Lady Apaches got down early in the 1st half but Coyne was able to draw a penalty kick midway through the 1st half. She took the penalty kick with ease and stroked into the right side of the net!Coyne scored once more in the second half to give the Lady Apaches the lead!Kathryn VanMeter freshman goal keeper was a key factor to the Apache victory! She made saves all night to keep the game close when the apaches were down. Once they gained they lead they never looked back due in part to VanMeter’s goal keeping and TJC’s overall defense. TJC will be taking on Bervard Friday morning 9 a.m. Central time. That match will be streamed live right here on mytjcnews so be sure and don’t miss it!
