The investigation into an Oct. 24 armed robbery at Varsity Place Apartments has been closed.
According to Tyler police Information Officer Don Martin nobody would cooperate with the investigation.
Armed with a semi-automatic pistol, two black men knocked on the door of an apartment where two men where inside. After entering the apartment four more men entered the apartment.
“They put us in a room and held a gun to the back of my head,” said the 19-year-old victim, “and told me and my friend that if we told anyone anything he would be back to kill us.”
The men took electronics and anything else they could grab.
“This all happened within 20 minutes.” Said the victim, “no one true to help us.”
Police were called after the men fled.
