Insane Inflatable 5K is coming to Tyler, Texas on Nov. 14, 2015. The event will be held at Camp Tyler Outdoor School in Whitehouse from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This 5K is unlike any other. This version of a 5K run has a variety of inflatable bounce houses throughout, which not only tests the mental and physical condition of the runners from start to finish.
Participants can join the run as an individual or with a team of as many people as desired. The team awards and guidelines will help to know where to begin. There will be 11 total obstacle from start to finish. The starting line will be the first inflatable labeled “Lets Go,” an incline of stairs to climb. The middle holds obstacles with names like Pure Misery, Jump Around, and even Big Balls. The finish line holds an obstacle which seems to be a combination of the rest.
The Insane Inflatable 5K will have midway and post celebrations to enhance the race. It will also include midway games full of fun and inflatable enjoyment, including a live DJ from the local radio station. There will also be food and drink stations set along the course to quench the building thirst of each runner. (Some events will offer beer and others will not.)
After the race, there will be tents set up for merchants and sponsors for souvenirs and local deals.
With all the fun that there is to be had, there is also a serious side to things. Insane Inflatable 5K will donate five dollars to charity for every registration. There will also be a special limited 11 a.m.-wave devoted to those charities. For those who do not participate in the 5k, spots are available for volunteers at registration to break down and clean up after the festivities.
