Dan Marshall Purvis III sits in to represent Native Americans on TJC’s International Day. He is a public speaker and a writer with his latest work being “Tribes in Tejas.”
Jamie Bitzenhoffer talks with students and visitors for International Day at TJC. While Bitzenhoffer is there to represent Lithuania, a country in Europe, she is also the department chair for government and economics at TJC.
Jimmy Mitchell also known as “Texas Bagpiper,” gets ready to perform for his act on TJC’s 32nd annual International Day to represent the Scottish and Irish tradition of the Bagpipe. He is currently a bagpiper for hire.
Larry Yazzie performs the eagle dance. Yazzie is also a member of the Meskwaki Tribe in Tama, Iowa.
Dr. Brandon Campbell is representing Germany with his family colors on his tartan and plays chess with another person participating in TJC’s International Day.
