Navarro forced to forfeit

TJC men’s basketball teams advances to the finals of the Region 14 Basketball Championships on Saturday in Jacksonville, without having to play.
Navarro College was forced to forfeit because they played an ineligible player.
Both TJC teams have advanced to the finals after TJC women’s basketball team took on Bossier Parish Community College at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon and advanced with a win of 70-61.
Women’s basketball will take the court against Trinity Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Men’s basketball will play at 8 p.m. against either Angelina College or San Jacinto College.
