
The women’s basketball team defeated Southwestern Christian College 110-30 on Nov. 4 at their first game.

The Apaches had rookies in the forefront without losing their No. 1 status. Kyra Anderson, a forward, finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. In addition to Monica Bottley, a point guard, had four steals, five assists, and 21 points.
The Apaches headed to halftime with a score of 51-15, leading the victory to the end with a score of 110-30.
The Apaches will play South Plains College on Nov. 8 in the Herb Richardson Classic-Wagstaff Gym-Tyler.
On the other hand, the men’s basketball team kept their winning streak, as they won their second game of the season against, Southwestern Christian College, 84-76, on Nov. 4.
The Apaches headed into halftime with a score of 42-33

The Rams were ahead 61-60 a few minutes after halftime, and the Apaches were on the defensive. However, freshman Zander Frazier, guard, scored two points from free throws to put the Apaches back on the top 62-61.
With the final score of 84-76, the Apaches prevailed despite the close game. Their next game is with Sauk Valley Community College on Nov. 8 in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Their next home game is against Dallas College Cedar Valley at 6 p.m. Nov. 21 held in Herb Richardson Classic-Wagstaff Gym-Tyler.
